Bye Week

This week the Falcons are on a bye week. They didn't play this week. Many things happened in the league this week. Peyton broke the record and the Panthers and the Pats are still undefeated. I am little scared cause the Panthers are just rolling teams. The Falcons schedule coming up looks pretty easy besides when we have to play the Panthers. I think that those games are going to be the biggest games for the Falcons all season. I really think that we can beat them. We have one of the highest power offenses in the League today. The Bucs also won today and the Saints lost a big one to the Redskins. The Falcons sit very well now. They just need to look at one game at a time. I think this weeks bye week for the Falcons was much needed. They look like they can put it all together and finish the season strong. All hopes Falcons. Dirty Birds will soon be Flying high soon enough.

Falcons continue to struggle

Oh boy. Really didn't want to blog today after an upsettting loss. The Falcons dropped another game today while the panthers keep winning. The Falcons are now 6-3 which isn't bad but could be better. There was one called that really raised my eyebrows, and that was kicking the field goal instead of going for it on 4th and 1 yard. You gotta risk it, you need to man up and go for it. That made me really angry just in light that the Falcons have one of the best backs in the game right now and you have Julio Jones. I'm glad that we have a bye week this week because we need it. Hopefully they can sort things out and hopefully there players get healthy.

Turnover troubles

First off I would like to say that you can't win a football game when you turn the ball over so much. Today the Falcons turned the ball over 4 times. Each time they turned the ball over the Bucs would score. The Bucs got all of their 20 points in regulation play off the turnovers from the Falcons. The Falcons need to stop turning the ball over if they want to win. In the past three weeks the Falcons have lost 2 games out of 3. Both of those losses are division games too. They currently sit at 6-2 which isn't that bad. They are second still behind the panthers. I think they will finish just fine, they just need to stop turning the ball over during crucial drives. Plus the Bucs aren't a very strong team, they really have nothing going for them. Sitting at the bottom of the division. Bucs fans should be so excited.

Email me

Through reading this article I took many things away from this. I found out that welcome emails are important. It makes the customer happy and want to use a service over again. Also that drop box emails are important for getting people engaged back into what is happening, whether it be in marketing or promotion. Special promotions such as anniversaries are another way marketers send out emails. It's a smart decision on their part because they can offer a discount to get people to buy more. Personally I usually skip over the thank you email. But it's proven to help a company in the way they get feedback and how they get customers back. Throughout reading this I thought the many aspects of emails were interesting and very insightful.

Hang on tight

Coming off a loss last week to the Saints, the Falcons were look to fly high against the Titans this week. This was not the case. Another sloppy game and another sloppy week for the Falcons. The only high part of this weeks game was that they won. They barely snook one out against a weak Tennessee team. The final score was 10-7 and Julio Jones was the only falcon to score during the game. Both quarterbacks didn't really show up to today's game. Hopefully in weeks to come Atlantans offense can show up.  Atlanta currently sits at 6-1. Overall a great start to the season.

Data Article Reaction

While reading this article, I found many things that were helpful and interesting. First I would like to mention the style of this. I thought it was really easy to read and I was engaged through the whole process. I like how it talked about the timeliness of the email and short messages. I understood how timing is a big part of getting your message out. Throughout the article it talked a lot about email data. The most interesting aspect to me personally was the analytics part. I like how it said when you know your benefits of using this way that things will become more clearer and more evident throughout your marketing. In the end you need relevant information and you need a strict understanding of what you are talking about.

Frustrated Falcons

Going into this week, the Falcons were one of the five undefeated teams in the nfl. They played the saints this week and they sure did struggle. In the first half alone they fumbled twice in the red zone. At times they couldn't get their offense going and other times they would be driving and they would turn the ball over. The defense also gave up a lot of big plays, leaving the middle open most of the game. The Falcons fall to 5-1 but still sit almost top of their division behind the Panthers.

5 Tips reaction

Throughout reading this article I thought ,any things were important. First on how it talked about you should have a mobile friendly site because a lot of people today have smart phones. Next is the CTA aspect of it all. I never thought that CTAs were that important but now I realize that they are and it's important that yours is big and easily accessible by customers. It's also important to leave a number just in case they need to call you.  Keeping emails short is also another thing that is interesting. I never thought that the length of an email controlled viewership of a page or website. And never forget to cater to the people with desktops too. I learned many valuable things while reading this article.

Walk-Off Winners

Coming into Sunday's game, the Falcons were feeling pretty good about themselves. Being 4-0 and facing a weak team in the Washington Redskins. They quickly realized that they were in for a big game against the Skins. I feel like they came into the game really cocky and not ready to play. Matt Bryant missed two key field goals which could have turned the game around. They struggled on the offensive part of the ball today. There defense gave them a lot of life.
You tend to hear the phrase walk-off in a baseball background.  Walk-off is defined as "ending a baseball game immediately by causing the winning run to score for the home team in the bottom of the last inning". In the Falcons case they had a walk-off. Robert Alford was the hero in Sunday's game. In overtime he picked off Kirk Cousins and raced down the field and scored a touchdown to end the game. He ended the game with one play, and he was my hero for the day. Next week the Falcons will take on the division rival New Orleans Saints on Thursday night. We will be in for a show when Matt Ryan takes on Drew Brees.

Article Reaction

Through reading this article I found many great things. There were many things that sparked an interests for me. First off I liked how it talked about knowing who is most important. For a sports blog you should give avid sports fans something to really get excited for. It said you should make things personal and easily accessible. You should also build trust with the people who follow your blog. You should always be keeping them informed with the things that are coming up. The article says things about being a good listener, and I think for me its important that I listen well to people who have advice for me. I should start becoming more engaged with my viewers and ask them how I am doing with my blog. Through reading this article I have found a lot of useful information on how to optimize.

Video Prodcast

All In, Dan Quinn

Dirty birds still flying high this week. The Atlanta Falcons are now 4-0. Many people are going to credit the defense, offense, or special teams. I believe that Dan Quinn has been one of the biggest differences for the Falcons this year. During the off season, the Falcons fired head coach Mike Smith. On February 2, 2015 the Falcons reached an agreement with head coach Dan Quinn. So where did he come from? Last year he was the defensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks. Last year the Seahawks lead the league in fewest points allowed all thanks to Dan Quinn. He has taken the Falcons where they needed to be this season so far. A great start to the season for the Falcons and they are still making improvements. Next week the Falcons will take on the Washington Redskins who are 2-2 coming off a week where they beat the Eagles. Birds Flying High this week.

Gross! Anatomy of Blog Post?

After reading this article, I felt invigorated. The first point I thoughts were interesting was the talk of the URL of your website. I think mine is quite intriguing. Bird flying High gives you a mental picture in your head while the Bird are actually flying high as of now being 3-0. Everyone loves short paragraphs because there are easy to read and usually not full of clutter. This is where I strive. Having an attention span of a peanut is perfect for writing quick and easy to read paragraphs.
One thing that caught my mind was the part about the images. You need to give credit where credit is due. For example if you have a picture on you blog it should be necessary to have where you found it under the picture, giving the person credit for said picture. It is also important to add keywords so your readers or potential readers can read up on your current blog. I thought that was very interesting when they talked about use relative information. For example people not might not understand some jargon you use. I was appalled when I saw that. Looks like from now on I have to talk like a normal human being in my posts. Overall I thought this article was good and enjoyed reading and learning new things.

No Coleman, No Problem

Despite not having Tevin Coleman, the Atlanta Falcons took on the Number 1 ranked rush defense in the NFL. It wasn't a problem for running back Devonta Freeman though. He had a game high rushing 30 times for 141 yards with three touchdowns. Freeman also added 52 yards on 5 receptions from Matt Ryan. He was one of the driving factor for the Atlanta Offense this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Julio Jones was also a big factor to Atlanta's high power offense. He had 12 catches for 164 yards along with two key touchdowns. You can never count out the Atlanta Falcons. They will keep coming for you, even when you think they're out for the count. Next week they will take on the struggling Houston Texas at home. It is sure to be a good game. Hopefully this week at practice the Falcons can all stay healthy, and can recover from any injuries that they might have. Until next week. Bird Flying High!!!!  !!!!! 3-0 !!!!!

New Hybrid Reaction

Throughout reading this article, I thought I knew many things that they were talking about. It turned out that I learned some new things while reading. I didn't know that a lot of companies used so many campaigns and media promotions to encourage viewers and customers to buy their stuff. I thought it was funny when they said that Burger King took the Whooper off their menu. After that people would send out videos of their reaction. In the end they didn't take it off the menu, but it probably encouraged more people to buy whoopers, one of their famous sandwiches. I think it is important to add stories in the way you market because people can relate to emotional stories or other forms of stories. Throughout reading this article, I recognized many companies and what they do to market and how they use media as a platform to market to viewers and the normal day consumer. It was a different article than the other articles that we previously have read.

Falcons Fiercly Flying

Coming off a Monday night game against the Eagles, the Falcons of Atlants struggle throughout most of the game this Sunday. They went head to head with the New York Giants. They struggled for most of the game until they gained momentum in the 4th quarter. Being a Falcons fan you are always on the edge of your seat while watching games. I was very pleased in seeing the Falcons take down one of my brothers favorite team in the Giants. He will definitely not hear the end of this one.
Next week we go up against the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas. With recent injuries to Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. I think we have a good chance to push our lead in the standings and push to 3-0. I hope RB Tevin Coleman returns to the line up this week as we face the Cowboys. I expect this game to be a big game for the Dirty Bird. Throughout the week I will be keeping you posted on everything Atlanta. Follow me at @JesseBush25

Article reaction

There are many things that I found interesting while reading this article and things you should do and not do with facebook. One of the things that made me think was the length of the post. Usually I do short post so I was surprised when it said it was good. Also when it says to not ignore your audience. I tend to do that sometimes so I feel bad when I do it. From now on I will respond to the people that post things to my page or posts. Also the questioning aspect I thought was interesting. I never thought of questioning people on facebook or setting up a survey or questionnaire. I took many things away from this article.

MONDAY

Monday. Monday. Monday. This Monday night the Atlanta Falcons will go head to head against a great defense and Chip Kelly's high power offense. Matt Ryan and rookie Tevin Coleman will go head to head against Eagles new quarterback Sam Bradford and new running back DeMarco Murray from the Cowboys. The biggest challenge for the Atlanta's defense is to stop Murray. It's gonna take a lot of hard nose tackling to stop the number 2 ranked running back from last year. I can't wait until that Monday night football song to come on and to watch the dirty birds of Atlanta take down the Eagles.

Article reaction

My initial reaction to this articles was actually surprising. When it mentioned on of the paragraphs about being opinionated and being dangerous, it shocked me that being dangerous is something you want to do when you blog. If you have strong feelings about something, the you should speak the truth, and you should care what people are going to say about it. In the end, it is your blog.

Throughout reading the article, it also says to think about the reader while writing the article. I think this is very important because if you can't keep the audience engaged then they won't read future posts on your blog, and they might not read the rest of it if it's not interesting to them. You should use emotions and possible strong language while writing some blogs.. Try to catch your readers off guard sometimes as well.
In the end you should have good quality stuff on your blog. You should also sound intelligent but not too cocky.
